At Memorial City Smiles we provide our patients with high-quality personal care, and go above and beyond to make sure every experience in our office is exceptional. We want patients to have confidence and be proud to show off their smile. Our office provides patients with many cosmetic and restorative options to give them that smile they have always dreamed of. Full mouth reconstructions are necessary when we need to rebuild or replace all of the teeth in patient’s mouth. This procedure helps to improve the health and function of the mouth, giving patients a beautiful smile.
Who would benefit from Full Mouth Reconstruction?
If you have a history of dental issues or have multiple dental problems such as multiple missing teeth, decayed teeth, teeth with numerous fillings, or teeth that are cracked or broken, you may be a great candidate. Other candidates for full mouth reconstruction include those that have genetic conditions such as Dentinogenisis, Amelogenesis, or Ectodermal Dysplasia.
How does a Full Mouth Reconstruction procedure work?
Full mouth reconstruction combines multiple general or restorative procedures. Each patient is evaluated, and a customized treatment plan is created to plan for their full mouth restoration. We use digital x-rays to get an inside picture of the mouth, and discuss all of your goals to determine the best treatment. We use a combination of restorative procedures for full mouth reconstruction including inlays, onlays, crowns, implants, fillings, bridges, or dentures.
Benefits of Full Mouth Restoration:
- Helps to restore facial structure and appearance to fix a sagging jaw or mouth
- Restores a patient’s ability to speak and eat normally
- Replaces missing or restores damaged teeth giving patients confidence
- Prevents bruxism or temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) by restoring a patient’s bite
